Website Design Company in Mumbai
Amezing Tech is a website design company working with Mumbai and MMR businesses since 2017. We are based in Satara and Pune, and we run Mumbai projects remotely — fixed written scope, staged payments tied to milestones, a live staging link you review before launch, and full ownership of your domain, hosting and code handed to you at the end.
Builds start at ₹18,000 for a 3–5 page site and ₹30,000 – ₹60,000 for a typical 5–10 page business website. This page is about how the engagement actually works and how to vet any agency — including us. The full price breakdown lives on the website design cost page.
Key takeaways
- What you get before paying: a written scope listing every page, every integration, the number of revision rounds, and the ownership clause. Not a one-line total.
- How remote works: scheduled discovery and review calls, WhatsApp for day-to-day, screen shares against a live staging URL, shared folder for assets.
- The one question that separates good vendors from bad: will the domain, hosting and source code be in my name at handover? If there is any hesitation, walk.
- No Mumbai office, and we say so up front. That cost is not inside your project fee.
- Check us the same way we tell you to check others — run our recent work through PageSpeed Insights on mobile and look at whether our own pages publish prices and have one H1.

Who we are
Amezing Tech is a digital marketing agency registered and operating from Maharashtra, with our base in Satara and working presence in Pune. We started in 2017. Website design and development is one of five services we run; the others are SEO, Google Business Profile optimisation, Google Ads management and social media marketing. That matters more than it sounds — the people building your site are the same people who have to make it rank and convert afterwards, so decisions like URL structure, heading hierarchy and page-level keyword mapping get made correctly at build time rather than patched six months later by someone else.
We work with Mumbai clients the same way we work with clients elsewhere in India: remotely, on a fixed scope, with scheduled contact. We are not going to claim a Kandivali address or a Lower Parel studio. If you want the full service menu, the website design services in Mumbai page covers packages, process, platforms and the areas we cover.
What we build
Business websites
Five to ten pages, one page per service so each can rank on its own, with a lead path that works on a phone. The most common project we run.
Custom design builds
Original layouts designed around your actual content rather than a theme demo, for brands where the site is the primary sales asset.
WordPress development
Lean plugin stacks, block editor or a light builder, no bloated multipurpose themes. Detailed on the WordPress page.
eCommerce stores
WooCommerce and Shopify, with Indian payment gateways, GST-correct tax classes and shipping aggregator integration.
Landing pages
Single-action pages built for Google Ads and Meta Ads traffic, with conversion tracking wired in before the campaign starts.
Redesigns and migrations
Rebuilding an existing site without losing the rankings it already has — the migration checklist is the deliverable that matters.
UI/UX and information architecture
Deciding what pages should exist, what each one has to achieve, and where a visitor’s doubt needs answering.
Care plans
Monthly updates on staging, off-server backups, uptime and malware monitoring, small content edits. From ₹1,500 a month.
How a remote project runs
The whole engagement is designed so that distance does not cost you anything except handshakes.
| Stage | What happens | What we need from you | Typical time |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Discovery call | 30–45 minutes on your business, buyers, competitors, what the site has to achieve, and what exists today. | Your time, and access to any current site and analytics. | Day 1 |
| 2. Scope and fixed quote | A written document: page list, integrations, revision rounds, timeline, ownership clause, price. | Read it properly and question anything vague. | 1–2 days |
| 3. Asset collection | We send a structured checklist — logo files, brand colours, photographs, product data, certificates, existing copy. | This is where projects live or die. Getting it back inside a week keeps the timeline. | 3–7 days |
| 4. Structure and content | Sitemap and page-by-page content plan, with keyword mapping. Copy written by you or by us. | Approval on the structure before design starts. | 3–5 days |
| 5. Design on staging | You get a live staging URL, not a flat image. You click it on your own phone. | Consolidated feedback, one round at a time. | 5–10 days |
| 6. Build and QA | Responsive checks on real devices, forms tested, speed pass, on-page SEO applied, schema added. | Final content sign-off. | 3–7 days |
| 7. Launch | Go-live checklist, redirects if replacing a site, sitemap submitted, Search Console and GA4 connected. | DNS access, or your hosting login. | 1 day |
| 8. Handover and support | Credentials, backup, a short screen-recorded walkthrough of how to edit your own content, 30 days of support. | Nothing. | 30 days |
Communication rhythm
- Scheduled calls at discovery, structure approval, design review and pre-launch. Booked in advance, not “whenever”.
- WhatsApp for quick questions, approvals and file drops during the working day. Most Mumbai clients prefer this to email and we do too.
- Screen shares for anything visual, because typed feedback on design wastes everybody’s time.
- One shared folder for all assets, so nothing lives only in a chat thread.
- A single named point of contact on our side. You are not routed through an account layer.
We do not have a Mumbai office, and that is deliberate. Commercial rent in Andheri, Lower Parel or BKC is real money, and in an agency’s cost structure it comes out of project fees. Working from Satara and Pune, we can quote a properly built business website at ₹30,000 – ₹60,000 rather than ₹1,50,000 for the same deliverable. If an agency does claim a Mumbai address, spend two minutes checking it on Google Maps and Street View before you sign — a surprising number of “Mumbai offices” are coworking mailing addresses or residential flats, which is fine, but you should know what you are paying for.

What you get in writing before you pay anything
A scope document is the only real protection either side has. Ours contains all of the following, and you should refuse to pay an advance to anyone who will not give you the equivalent:
- A page-by-page deliverable list. Not “10 pages” — the actual names of the ten pages, and what sits on each.
- Every integration named. Payment gateway, shipping, CRM, booking, chat, newsletter. Anything not listed is out of scope by definition.
- Revision rounds defined — typically two on design and two on build, at named milestones, with a stated rate beyond that.
- A timeline with your dependencies flagged. If content is three weeks late, the launch date moves, and the document says so in advance rather than becoming an argument.
- Content and image responsibility, stated explicitly. This is the most common cause of a stalled project in this industry.
- An ownership clause: domain registered in your name, hosting account in your name, WordPress admin credentials handed over, source code yours, no licence you must keep paying to use.
- Payment milestones: 40% to start, 40% at design approval, 20% at launch.
- What happens if we part ways mid-project — you keep what has been paid for, with files and access.
Vendor due-diligence checklist
Use this on every shortlisted company, us included. It takes about twenty minutes per vendor and it is the highest-return twenty minutes in the whole process.
| Ask this | What a good answer looks like |
|---|---|
| Show me the last three sites you launched. | Three live URLs, recent, not a curated portfolio of eight-year-old work. Then test each on PageSpeed Insights on mobile yourself. |
| Who writes the content? | A clear answer with a price attached. “You send us the content” is honest; silence on the subject is not. |
| Will the domain and hosting be in my own name? | An immediate yes. This is the single most predictive question in the list. |
| What happens if I leave in a year? | You take everything: files, database, credentials. No exit fee, no held hostage hosting. |
| Is the work subcontracted? | Either “no” or an honest “yes, and here is who does what”. Both are workable; being misled is not. |
| Check their own website. | One H1 per page? Real prices published anywhere? Working schema? A web design company whose own site fails basic technical checks is telling you what your site will look like. |
| Verify the GST number and legal entity. | A GSTIN you can look up, and an invoice in a real business name. |
| Ask for a client reference you can call. | One name and number. A vendor with happy clients can produce this in a day. |
| Compare claimed reviews against the public profile. | If a site’s markup or ads claim thousands of reviews and the actual Google or Clutch profile shows a handful, that is not a rounding error. |
Red flags
- Fabricated review counts. Structured data or ad copy claiming a 4.9 average over thousands of reviews, with a public profile showing single digits. It is a Google policy violation and it tells you how the rest of the relationship will go.
- “Unlimited pages” or “unlimited revisions”. Nobody can deliver either profitably, so the price already contains padding or the promise is not real.
- Refusing to give you hosting or registrar credentials. The most expensive mistake a small business makes online.
- A portfolio full of dead links. Click every one. If half the “clients” no longer have a site, ask why.
- Price only after a call. Sometimes legitimate for genuinely complex work, but a starter website has a knowable range and hiding it is a negotiating tactic.
- Stock photos of a team that does not match the About page. Small thing, tells you a lot.
- A guarantee of a Google ranking position. Nobody can guarantee that. Anyone offering it is either inexperienced or counting on you not checking.
- Pressure to pay 100% up front on a first engagement.
Industries we work with
Manufacturing and export
Product catalogues, downloadable spec sheets, certifications, export enquiry forms. Common across the Andheri, Bhiwandi and Turbhe belts.
Real estate and interiors
Project pages with location and configuration detail, gallery-heavy layouts that still load fast on 4G, site-visit enquiry flows.
Healthcare and clinics
Treatment pages, doctor credentials, appointment enquiry, and content written carefully enough not to overclaim.
Finance, CA and legal
Service pages that survive a compliance read, credential-forward layouts, and conservative, accurate copy.
Education and coaching
Course and batch pages, faculty profiles, enquiry and counselling funnels, admission-season landing pages.
Logistics and freight forwarding
Service and route pages, tracking links, quote request forms with the fields a freight desk actually needs.
D2C and retail
WooCommerce and Shopify stores with Indian gateways, GST invoicing and shipping aggregator integration.
Hospitality and events
Menu, venue and package pages, photo galleries that are compressed properly, and enquiry paths that work on a phone.
Agency, freelancer or offshore marketplace?
An honest comparison, including the cases where we are not the right answer.
| Cost basis | Accountability | Speed | Genuinely good for | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mumbai-based agency | Highest — city overheads and account layers are in the fee | Contractual, plus you can turn up in person | Moderate; more stakeholders | In-person workshops, on-site shoots, corporate procurement that requires local presence |
| Remote India agency | Mid — team capability without metro rent | Contractual, single point of contact | Fast; fewer layers | Most SME and mid-market projects where the brief is clear |
| Freelancer | Lowest for a competent individual | Personal, and fragile if life happens | Very fast, or stalled | Small, well-defined jobs; ongoing tweaks; a second pair of hands |
| Offshore marketplace | Lowest headline price | Platform dispute process only | Unpredictable | Commodity tasks with a crisp spec and no ongoing relationship |
If your project needs someone physically present regularly — a large internal stakeholder group, a premises shoot, or a procurement policy that requires a local vendor — hire in Mumbai. We would rather tell you that than take a project we will frustrate you on. For everything else, a fixed scope and scheduled reviews close the gap entirely. There is a longer treatment of this in our agency versus freelancer comparison.

Frequently asked questions
Where is Amezing Tech based?
Satara, Maharashtra, with a working presence in Pune. We serve Mumbai and MMR clients remotely and we do not claim a Mumbai office. All contact runs through +91 77096 45632 and support@amezingtech.com.
Can a website design company outside Mumbai handle a Mumbai project properly?
Yes, for the large majority of projects. What matters is a fixed written scope, a live staging link you can test on your own phone, scheduled review calls and a single point of contact. What remote cannot cover is regular in-person workshops, on-site photography, or procurement rules that require a local registered vendor.
How long has Amezing Tech been operating?
Since 2017. Website design sits alongside SEO, Google Business Profile work, Google Ads and social media, which is why on-page SEO decisions get made during the build rather than retrofitted afterwards.
Will I own my website?
Completely. The domain is registered in your name, the hosting account is yours, you receive WordPress admin credentials and a full backup, and there is no ongoing licence fee to keep the site running. This is in the scope document before you pay anything.
What happens if I want to move to another agency later?
You take everything — files, database, credentials, hosting. There is no exit fee and nothing is held back. Ask every vendor you shortlist this question; the answer is more revealing than the price.
How do I check whether a web design company is any good?
Ask for the last three sites they launched, then test each one yourself on PageSpeed Insights on mobile. Check their own site has one H1 per page and working schema. Verify the GSTIN. Ask who writes content, whether work is subcontracted, and whether the domain will be in your name. Compare any claimed review counts against the actual public profile.
Do you sign an NDA?
Yes, on request, before discovery if you prefer. It is a normal part of working with clients who have unreleased products or sensitive commercial information.
Who will I actually be talking to?
One named point of contact for the whole project, not a rotating account team. The person on your discovery call stays on the project through launch.
How many revision rounds do I get?
Two on design and two on build as standard, at named milestones, with a stated rate for anything beyond. Bounded revisions get projects finished; the vendors offering unlimited ones are either padding the price or have no process.
Do you provide hosting?
We set it up and configure it, but the account is in your name and you pay the host directly. Budget ₹3,000 – ₹12,000 a year for a business site, more for a store. Holding a client’s hosting is how vendors create lock-in and we would rather not have that leverage.
Is on-page SEO included or extra?
Included. Mapped titles and meta descriptions, one H1 per page, heading structure, alt text, internal links, clean URLs, schema markup, XML sitemap, Search Console and GA4 setup. Ongoing SEO — content, links, technical work over months — is a separate retainer.
Can you take over a website another agency built?
Usually yes. We audit what is there first — platform, theme, plugin stack, hosting, whether the previous developer holds any credentials — and tell you honestly whether it is worth maintaining or whether a rebuild costs less over two years than patching it.
What payment methods do you accept?
Bank transfer and UPI, against a GST invoice, in three milestone payments: 40% to start, 40% at design approval, 20% at launch. Larger eCommerce builds are split across more milestones tied to phases.
How quickly can you start?
Usually within two to four working days of the scope being signed. The realistic constraint on your launch date is how fast content and images come back from your side, not our availability.
Do you work with businesses outside Mumbai?
Yes — across Maharashtra and the rest of India, including Pune and Satara where we are based. The Mumbai pages exist because Mumbai is where most of our website enquiries come from.
What if I only need a small change to an existing site?
Small jobs are fine. A care plan at ₹1,500 – ₹6,000 a month covers routine edits along with updates, backups and monitoring, which usually works out cheaper than paying per change.
Talk to the person who will run your project
No call centre and no account layer. Describe what you need and you will get a written scope with a fixed price, usually the same working day.
